Week 3 (2/3) Guardians Story Draft

This is the current draft of the story. I have since recieved some feedback and am building on them:


this creature was made by an ancient civilization to preserve life within the forest. But due to the actions of man, the civilization fell and the guardian was left largely unfinished. It was meant to receive specific orders upon its completion, with simple commands input as placeholders. It’s face was incomplete causing excess energy to escape and form what looks like horns from its eyes. The guardian to wander its domain as if it were an animal. Its placeholder commands create a kind of instinct within the guardian. It doesn’t care why it does what it does. It just knows that it must.

After wandering for thousands (or hundreds) of years. Its body is a host to a variety of beautiful flora and fauna. The energy within its shell forming an entire ecosystem on its body. Time has left its body damaged, even lost a leg some time ago. But it keeps moving, doing what it knows it must do
